Ramps & Repairs -Letters of Appreciation

Hi Kris,

Would you forward this email to the appropriate person of STNofJC?

I would like to express my gratitude to the men who came to my house on Thursday, December 16th to build a ramp so that my daughter, Dannette, would be able to come home from the hospital.  Pete and I both say a special thank you.

Dear Mr. Williams and Mr. Burke,

I recall getting a phone call sometime last year or early this year from Mr. Williams about having our house exterior painted . He told me he had received our name from the Council on Aging. He was very pleasant and I was surprised to get his call since I had given up hope for help.

Then, in June, Mr. Burke called me and told us the news about our house being painted through the cooperation of “Serve the Need” and C3 Church.  I remember the day well: I broke down in tears. It had been a long time since we had any good news from anyone and for something this big? That was phenomenal!

We cannot express our thanks to you and your wonderful organization for providing the money for the paint and also for obtaining help from C3 Church! Joe, the day we first met you in our home, you were a blessing to our life!

We are enclosing a check to help “pay it forward” to your organization to use in whatever way you feel best! Your organization is very appropriately named for being of service to others in the community and being so involved and touching people in so many ways by what you do! Again, thank you so much for your kindness and generosity and May God Bless you and your fine organization for all you do!!!!

 Sincerely,

 John and Marlene DePretto
