Notes
HALT is a NC approved domestic violence batterer intervention program. Our primary goal is to intercede and break the cycle of violence between abusers and victims of domestic violence. HALT/Recovery Strategies is an enhanced HALT group that addresses domestic violence and substance abuse. HALT/Parenting is an enhanced HALT group that addresses domestic violence and teaches comprehensive parenting skills. Participants must earn the required number of credits for group, case management, and NA/AA meetings, comply with random testing, and follow all program recommendations.
HALT offers a 6-month program and a 12-month program. Core services (group, case management, NA/AA, drug testing) are the same, but frequency and length of sessions differ.
We accept referrals from court, probation, DSS, employers, and civil consent orders.
