Cyber Café is a collaborative, private, not-for-profit, public restaurant that is committed to offering healthy and great tasting cuisine while providing a culinary training program and operating a learning kitchen for youth and adults from the community in need of employment.
The project provides Dislocated Workers Adults/Youth – Age 18 and older who are interested in a career in the Food and Beverage industry. The program aims to cultivate professionals for the food industry, (the 5th largest job growth industry in Johnston County).
Upon successful completion of the 12 week training program participants who are ready to work can be matched up with employment opportunities, work experiences and/or on the job training.

Veterans looking for transportation to the VA hospital in Durham: To schedule transportation to the Durham VA – the veteran should call the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Smithfield, NC at (919) 989-7177 and FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. Calls for transportation requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance of required transportation to be honored.”
