SBA’s programs now include financial and federal contract procurement assistance, management assistance, and specialized outreach to women, minorities and armed forces veterans. SBA also provides loans to victims of natural disasters and specialized advice and assistance in international trade.

Our shelters operate 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year and we are always in Monday-Friday between 8am and 5pm but our business office hours are as follows:
Monday – Friday
10 am – 12 pm and 1 pm – 4 pm
PLEASE CALL AHEAD of time if you are referring a potential client or calling on behalf of yourself. We must go through proper procedures before helping individuals.
If you are bringing a donation of any kind please call us and make arrangements. Our office is not open Saturday or Sunday but if you call ahead during the week we can make arrangements to have a staff member available.

The Taylor Retina Center opened in 2001 as Raleigh’s first center to exclusively diagnose
and treat diseases of the retina, macula, and vitreous. Offices in 6 additional locations:
in Smithfield, Goldsboro, Dunn, Greenville, New Bern and Wilson. All offices offer
diagnostics and treatment to patients and are conveniently located to those in outlying
communities such as Garner, Clayton, Benson, Kenly, Dunn, Washington, Tarboro, and
Rocky Mount.
They utilize the latest technology and therapeutic methods for diagnosis and treatment of vision threatening disorders, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, macular hole, macular pucker, and retinal vein occlusions.
